Hi all:
I just tried to print a pdf from CSU Fullerton's career center that we recieved in reply to our job posting.
The thing printed out real weird with the spacing ok but the text was mostly giberish (random letters with real bad spacing). Please note that it displayed fine in Acrobat Reader 8.0. Just the printing is whack.
Then I tried Sumatra from my flash drive (from PortableApps.com). It displayed great and printed great.
So to see if theere was something wrong with my machine, I tried it on my co-workers rig.
He has Acrobat Pro 6.0 but we used Acrobat Reader 8.0 and it printed ok but the headings were not bold even though they display on the screen. (Also note that all of this prints from a shared printer attached to his computer.)
I have never had problems displaying or printing pdfs with any software (foxit, sumatra, or Acrobat) until this point.
So to summarize, it won't print 100% correctly from either computer using Acrobat, but Sumatra Portable gets it out like a champ.
So what do you think the problem is? Thanks.
