if i remember right, the mowers are about $100.
for $150 u can get a cheap gas powered mower

i'd think it would be hard to make a tight turn w/ your bike

Being able to get a cheap gas powered mower is besides the point. Essentially, all a gas powered mower does is whack off the top of grass blades. By ripping off the top, you get those ugly yellow tips. On the other hand, a push mower cuts grass like a giant pair of scissors. They're even better if you have children . A good push mower can cost you a lot more than a decent gas mower. Granted, I'm too lazy to use a push mower, and I don't care much about the colour of my grass .

Sounds interesting but it will need some serious downforce to get the blades spinning. Which will mean you will have to start off slowly and go slowly. I doubt it would work well all things considered. I like the idea though. I love biking and hate mowing so this would lessen the whole suckness of it.

How the f*ck would you turn, too? My typical (push) mowing style is to do one row, do a 180, then do the next row. Do you just ride ur bike around the lawn in random directions til you get all the long grass? Don't you leave tire tracks in the grass too?
