the more i think about this. the more I think Fuck that doctor for punishing the child for the so called sins of the parents.

What were you thinking about while you thought about it? Could you not find sympathy for the parents because they're gay? The child must become a victim to justify your feelings about the doctor? Or were you kidding?

I only ask because the child wasn't punished.

Aside from your colorful and obviously educated response thus far, care to elaborate and enlighten everyone as to how being born gay is a matter of fact?

At what age did you choose to be heterosexual or homosexual? Did you have to sign some kind of contract when you made your choice?

sure it was. sure they parents could find another doctor. but they shouldn't have to. to refuse to see the child becuase of the so called "sins" of it's parent is a punishment.

Is it major? no. The doctor is wrong i also suspect like the baker she is going to be out of some cash.

This doctor isn't a good Christian, a good Christian would follow Romans Chapter 1 verses 26-32 where it says to kill homosexuals (including lesbians), and their supporters. They are "Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

She would have, had she gone to work that day. She mentioned that she stayed home in case she'd have to look them in the face. I guess then she'd have to kill the replacement as well.

For example, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alewife_(trade)

In the 15th century women were able to run an ale making business.

You do not know much about history do you?
I don't think that's a good example as alewives were actually heavily regulated. A goodwife wishing to sell ale had to hang a sign or object outside her home. An ale-connor then tasted her ale before she was allowed to sell it, to be sure it was of sufficient quality, and had the obligation to pour it out if not. Assuming the ale was approved, she had to pay a scot (usually but not always in kind) to the local lord or township (and sometimes another to the local church) and the price she could charge was fixed by the local lord or township. She could neither charge more nor less. Severe fines and often loss of ale-brewing privileges were assessed for violations of these rules.

One of the lesbians I've known definitely chose to be lesbian. She was straight until raped, cut up and left for dead. After that, the idea of intimacy with a man was disgusting for her. I knew another girl who was sexually bi, but only crushed on girls.

Point is, there are many reasons why someone makes her life choices, and unless it's materially hurting someone else it's none of our business.

Jesus didn't end the old testament rules, he specifically says he isn't here to do that. Christians still need to kill homosexuals, stone their disobedient children to death. These are all commanded by god.

That has nothing to do with a protected right to open a business that caters to the public.

Working is a common law right. We were granted those rights by our ancestors thousands of years before the United states was even thought of.

Refusing to be a servant is a protected right under the 13th.

I do not understand why you have problems with these simple concepts.

If I do not want to work for you I am free to refuse to serve you.

And what would bring you to this assumption? Did I hit a nerve here? No where did I condemn gay people but you and VG go ahead and draw your conclusions. I asked a simple question and I got the full bore typical response because I dared to question any aspect regarding homosexuality. If anything makes me angry it's how ignorant a response you just provided as it's not typical of you.

What exactly does that have to do with the question? I know the question was inconvenient and not politically correct and all.....so sorry.

What conclusions did I draw? I simply asked a question as to when *you* made your choice.

You're claiming it's a choice so I'm simply asking when *you* made your choice.

You are drawing conclusions as I've not claimed its a choice. I have not seen facts stating it's genetic that are 100% proven. Hence my original question to another poster all together.

(sorry, something is screwing up my quote marks)

"Aside from your colorful and obviously educated response thus far, care to elaborate and enlighten everyone as to how being born gay is a matter of fact?"

If you are not born gay what else would it be other than a choice? Or is your thinking that people are being forced to be homosexuals?

Post 77... I don't know....do you? Could be either option. My conclusion is just that, not the force theory you've posed here.
