See, you don't understand the meme. It's not making fun of CP or pedophilia, it's making fun of the social obsession with these things. Ever see the "you gonna get raped" gifs? They're not making fun of rape or rapists, they're making fun of our stereotypes.

Yes, but that stuff tends to stay on 4chan. No one in their right mind would bring that stuff elsewhere.

Oh and spare me the "over the line" crap; nothing is truly off limits for jokes. It's just more difficult to make the jokes worthwhile if you're talking about something really offensive. But nothing is really off limits, nor should it be.

no, it's not. but the current obsession that there's a pedophile behind every bush waiting to molest your children is ridiculous and that's being made fun of. in addition to the pedos themselves.

Kids will have to learn that /b/ is not real life.

Talking about harming women and violence towards children might be ok on /b/, but the real world takes offense to it.

If the RD felt offended, then he should have used his authority to take kid into his office and scold him. If kid takes an attitude about it, use campus procedures to formally cite the little shit. If kid acts contrite, then have him remove it and then have some light punishment.

Involving the police and endangering the kid's future is gross incompetence. This asshole RD is going to spend a whole lot of his and the police's time investigating a kid for crimes that are only in his stupid fantasy land. That's a ton of tax payer's money down the drain, and we have potential social cost of this kid going to jail for petty vandalism that should only warrant a finger wagging from an administrator.
