If they had all dressed in blackface, they would have been lynched. If they had worn head dress feathers and dressed liked Pochantis, they would have been scalped. But dress like Mexican banditos and people on balance arent that offended.

I remember back in the early 80s my cousin and I participated in a dance in a festival along with some other boys. Of course, we were wearing sombreros, white outfits and had multicolored ponchos. There were about five of us.

We had all sorts of reactions as we walked among thousands of normally dressed people of all races and no complaints. I still remember that to this day.

And the result in fraternities and sororities is a broadening "no pictures" policy. I know my old frat has pretty strict rules regarding pictures at parties now. That's sad, because those young Greeks won't have pictures to look back on and remember those events. All because of some butthurt whiners and the PC media.

As much as I agree, and as I've stated above I'm not offended in the least, Mexicans are an easy target. If they had all put on blackface makeup and dressed in sagging pants and doorags holding 40s and grapedrink and signs that said 'I love fried chicken' or 'welfare is awesome' there would be an EPIC shitstorm over it. Double standards are fun.
