Well good, I know my machines run that. All six PC's have exceeded 24 hours per WU on yoyo, that's not normal, right?
It is not normal for Muon ... Which project are the long ones?

Muon is usually pretty stable and good paying. With an occasional WU going for a long time, but the pay is still good!

The ecm WUs are the long ones that also take a lot of memory.

Abort them.

There were only a few ecm's running, as I'd set my preferences for Muon, but even the Muon's were over 20 hours, on all machines. I aborted them and couldn't get any new tasks nor access the Yoyo home page at the time so I'm trying to keep from losing any points on WCG now.

I'll give Yoyo another chance, on my fastest machine.

It's coming back to me now why I like Yoyo/Muon - my i7 920 does well on Muon. Just a little behind the Hazwells. On most projects the 920 is quite a bit behind.

Don't you still have a 920?

On my 920 currently I have running WUs at 11, 8, 6, 2, 2, 1 hours respectively. Eleven hours is about the longest I have seen. I hate that Muon does not show finished results for very long.

Remember, the Einstein race finishes in 5.5 hours. I've been going through my WUs to suspend all those that don't have completed results from wingmen. But I'm not quite sure I'll have enough of those to finish out the race.

Einstein: I've got approx. 490,000 points waiting to be validated..........and only 30 minutes for it to count for the Pentathlon.

149 total tasks, 100 of the BRP6's (4400 points each) and 49 BRP4's (about 1000 each).

I sure hope there's some bunkering going on somewhere (for some reason) and that they upload SOON.

I'm going to switching back to wcg once my yoyo units are done, loaded up my limit on lhc (4 per core) and will be dumping them once the race starts.

Hmm. Never run LHC@Home before. I guess I will have to sign up for it. How long does the avg WU run?

Bummer, none of my wingmen were bunkering. I had 182 BRP6's left on the table.

I felt lucky to have only 23 unresolved WUs. Some of them were from my initial dump on the 9th, and downloaded on the 5th!

That sucks. I added a bunch of additional cores into WCG but we still lost 3 points from the last update.

...I added a bunch of additional cores into WCG but we still lost 3 points...

Hang in there, I think many of us have gone network silent, bunkered and crunched the 4 per core limit on LHC, and then crunched either WCG or Yoyo or both until we can reactivate network activity in a few hours and dump our workload.

I've been crunching WCG, so we should get a small boost soon. That said, the teams under us have been crunching furiously at WCG so it likely won't be enough to win back any points, but we will surely delay any future loss of points.

EDIT: The furious crunchers have already passed us. We should regain 3 points soon, and the two under us are far less productive, so we may be safe.

It's WAY early for predictions, but I'm tossing one out anyway. It looks like we can pick up 2 spots for 6 pts in WCG, we're going to (barely) hold our current position in Yoyo, lose a spot/3 pts in LHC but then regain 6 pts in LHC.

In all, I predict another 17th place finish, possible tie for 16th, but well ahead of BOINC Stats this year, who are next in line behind us.

Last year we tied with BOINCstats for 16th and 17th places.

My prediction will be put to the test once Yoyo ends, and we see where the teams puts their spare cycles to use after that.

I'll stick with yoyo to try to hold off AMD Users.

Looks like those of you on WCG picked up 3 points.

Right now I'm running wcg and have about a days worth still to go through. Once I'm close to running out I'll switch to where it's needed more.

On this LHC Sixtrack thing, why am I getting different versions of the application running on the same machine? Shouldn't I be getting all SSE3 or PNI if I support that?

No really trying to see the future, stocked up on 6 days worth of work without realizing i didn't need that much. I had been trying to have a small backlog so in case there was a project that needed a bump in work. It would be easy to switch. Kept stocking up on to much work when stockpiling.

Well, someone bunkered a bunch of yoyo WUs for BOINCStats. Now they are even with us for total points.

It seems to only let you download 4 WU per thread on your PC. So on a dual core/threaded machine, you would only get 8 WU's at a time. May not actually be a limit, but it seemed to hold true for my machines.

EDIT: Eh, scratch that 4 per core limit. I currently have way more than 4 per thread on at least one machine at the moment.

In other news, sad sad news, my i7-920 is....resting. Soon it will be resting in pieces, but for now it's just resting. PSU #2 (both OCZ) has officially died. :'(
