I successfully built two rigs last night, and this Pentium G3258 at 4.0 GHz with DDR3 1600 completely blows it away than Pentium G4560 3.5 GHz with DDR4 2400. I got done finish installing new OS from scratch 1 hour 15 minutes faster than with G4560 with its suspected SLOW DDR 4 timing. Is this possible? DDR3 1600 is rated 9 CAS, while DDR4 2400 is 16 CAS.
I don't see all the hype on how DDR4 is faster than DDR3, especially CAS latency increases by 2 times. Anyone have this issue?
