Thought it would be obvious. Alcohol causes tons of deaths through drunk driving and tons of fights are caused by angry drunks. Drug use simply harms the user 99% of the time.

Oh, and for the record, I've never had alcohol nor done a single drug in my life. I'm also married with a 3 year old, for the person accusing me of being a virgin to nullify my opinions.

You seem like a ton of fun.

Random Person: "Hey shadow9d9, wanna drive to the store to get some groceries?"
shadow9d9: "Did you know that 52% of accidents occur within 5 miles of your home?"

Intoxicated people killing innocents is equivalent to just accidents?

I don't understand why the most dangerous intoxicant is ok because everyone does it, while everything else is teh evil...

Step one on internet: Smear your opponent. NEVER address the arguments!

Boberfett is right by the way. We should all be so insecure and power deficient in our lives that we should not allow 8-18 year olds to have a say in what food they get to eat. Giving up what little amount of pathetic power you have(over your kids) should never be given!

LMAO, here we go again. Meal planning by parents is fascist.

Accidents can happen for a variety of reasons. My point earlier was that you're hyper inflating the negative of an otherwise enjoyable activity. Just like with most things in life, there are inherent risks with drinking, and it's up to the drinker to be responsible. I know I can drink, have fun, and still be in control and responsible for myself. Can you? I guess you wouldn't know.

Grown N Sexy club is jumping off this Wed, 30+ year olds only. No fighting, no barely 21 year olds who only want to get drunk. A nice environment with some very pretty ladies. If me being 36 and going to a club where I'll talk to real females makes me a looser I'm okay with that. It's better than being a judgmental fucker on here who's the same age posting about how others are loses for actually getting out of the house.

Here is a comparison of statistics:

http://drugwarfacts.org/cms/?q=node/30

....

Alcohol contributes to about 599,000 unintentional student injuries each year. No such statistics exist when it comes to student marijuana use. Source: National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism Task Force on College Drinking, 2007.

I have a study. 100% of fatal car accidents involved cars. Do you have a cell phone? Never once talked on the cell phone in your car? What about cutting people off becasue you almost missed an exit? Talk to others in your car? Smoke while driving? Sip a drink (coffee, Soda, etc)?

All these actions increase risk. So eat it.

How about old age? Should people over 80 not drive? How about 60? Clearly a 20 year old is more physically able to drive. Or is there a theoretical perfect age for driving where people over 34.4225334 years of age?

Does you car have air bags for everyone? in door? maybe laws should be changed so that any car without side, driver and passenger air bags be destryoed? After all there are studies on it.

Driving at night should also be banned. To hard to see things easily. To risky.

Do you obbey the speed limit? If everyone is going 80 mph in a 65 mph, are you safer going 45? Or 80? Of course, tons of irony in that one!

Having said all this. THE THREAD IS NOT ABOUT THIS, SO SHUT UP AND STAY ON TOPIC!

I think he's talking about the perpetual college student that hangs out with the same lame friends every week, drinks the same lame beer, and hits on the same lame girls that live in the bar also. All the stuff that was kind of fun 10 years earlier, but is now embarrassing, and undignified.

So like Sam Malone? :hmm:

It's different when you own the bar :^P

Edit:
I have a different vision than Sam Malone anyway. There's a small bar rat culture around here, and they're all the people who never really grew up. There's a weird drama that follows them which is just like high school was. It was lame in high school, and it's just plain embarrassing now.

So, what does hte boldfaced thing mean? Good or bad?

<3 is an ASCII heart, so I'd assume he loves it.

Let that be a lesson to you.

And now you commented on another of my posts. You're not very good at this are you?

Just discovered this beer a few weeks ago. <3 it.

Mmmmm... yes. I love the German Hefeweizens because I'm still not too big of a fan of the bitterness of hops. I had a blast in Munich trying all the different ones out. And the best part was that beer was almost always the cheapest per volume drink available so not only was it tasty and refreshing but economical. :awe:

I think Franziskaner is my favorite one that I have had. Paulaner has a bit too much hops but I think Erdinger comes in second because it is very drinkable since it is light on the hops and it is easily available out here. Franziskaner is a nice compromise in between.

Really? Is that the best you got? The topic is about drinking at bars... which requires people to drive home, and a good portion drive drunk... it also happens to cause more deaths x4 than all illicit drugs together... since most people consider drug users to be "losers", I think it is appropriate to call these drinkers losers too.
