I knew a guy that used to drive with his arm out the window. One night he got drunk and side swiped an oncoming pickup truck. After that he had to learn how to tie his shoes one handed.

I made sure to drive my manual transmission with a dog in my lap, my pointy-elbowed arm out the windows, and my radio blasting Bob Dylan, all while en route to a buffet (only thing I can remember from the "I judge people who..." thread that I can't find anymore). EDIT: I'm talking just about putting the elbow on the door, not a straight out arm, no one does that for extended periods of time anyway since you need 2 hands to drive in normal traffic and in the highway it freezes your arm off.

If 80+ degree air freezes your arm off you have issues

Today I drove with my arm out the window. And not only was my arm out the window, I was cracking each knuckle using my thumb while my arm was out the window.

That's somewhere between telling someone to get to the choppa while I fight the predator mano-y-mano and pulling an iron bar out of my abdomen then using it to kick a more advanced model of terminator's ass on the scale of badassery.

I don't understand why people do this. Leave your dog at home! As much as your dog is happy to see you when you get home he DOES NOT want to be stuck in a car for 2 hours while you go to the gym.
