How much did your practice scores differ from your actual scores?

I never actually took a practice test. But hey, I aimed for a 165 and that's exactly what I got.

I never took a practice test. I got a 168, but I think I would have done better had I taken it again.

Don_Vito and Orsorum- Thanks. I've taken some practice tests and scored pretty high. I still am having problems with Analytical Reasoning, but I'm not even going to be taking the LSAT for at least 2 years.

I've never taken it, but I would assume if you do well on the practice, you should do well on the actual test. Plus, you're a smart guy, so I'm sure you'll do well!

I found it was very helpful to have taken the GRE not long before the LSAT, since the logic portion of the GRE is kind of like a dumbed-down version of the LSAT (at least it was ten years ago). I actually never did any LSAT-specific study - I just used a Barron's book for the GRE to prepare for both and did quite well (I got a 780 on the logic part of the GRE).

yea i think they took the logic games section out of the GRE

I took Kraplan and didn't improve. Don't waste your money on them.

I wish I did better.

I took Princeton and was very satisfied with my improvement. My actual score went up nearly 17pts from my first practice test and was 6pts over my average.

Fergot to mention, i had a hottie for a teacher so it helped pass the time during class.

i did not study for the lsat and didnt even know how the test was structured, scored 157.

i will study a little before I take my next test this summer.

Won't that really hurt you? I read that a lot of schools will take your lowest score or average your scores.

depends on how well he does the second time around. if he scores in the 170's he'll have a high average and some schools may be tempted to throw that first score out and look only at the second.

my bf was in the high 150's, peaked at 162 i think, scored 165.

my practice score was 2 points higher than my actual score, mostly because i screwed up reading one of the logic questions.

That's what I keep telling myself... but I don't know if I have the time or discipline to actually study for the one in June.
