The increase in hospitalizations shows the argument that there are only "more cases because we're doing more testing" is bull shit. If the increase in identified cases was solely due to more testing and not more people actually getting sick then the hospitalization rate would remain the same as before.

Much more importantly the ratio of positive tests to negative would have actually gone down as our testing became less targeted to suspected cases, but we see the exact opposite. The percentage of tests that test positive have more than doubled in the last 2 months, and show every sign of exponential growth.

As has been probably pointed out, no need to ask the task force anything, just cut off the funding. So the testimony is true. And it's also true Trump's slowing down the testing, just via a different avenue.
