i'm doing a redesign of my website, and right now the template i'm using rely's on a javascript navbar. now, i've got it working perfectly in firefox, but IE gives me errors... which makes me wonder, does anyone know what the percentage of people that have javascript disabled is? i know some companies are likely to block it for security purposes but i'm just wondering overall what its usage figures might be.

Considering IE is the major browser in the market right now, I'd be more concerned with making it work with that than FireFox.

That's what the <!---isIE---> (or whatever that tag reads) is for.

They all look the same to me. :camera:

The only thing that doesn't work right with JavaScript disabled is that the arrows don't show up when you mouse over them.

At least for me anyway.

True, but that's slowly changing and if standards are followed properly 90% of the page will work fine in both browsers and he'll just have to make a few special cases for things that IE does wrong or doesn't support.

I'd be more concerned with using if browser == IE; alert('Your browser is broken. Please download FireFox.')

Also, corps will not disable JS, but popups, popunders are a PITA.
