In the recent Maximum PC they gave both the SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum and the Radeon 8500 scores of a perfect 10, and I am shocked. Although I think the Radeon 8500's trueform technology is revolutionary and audigy's 5.1 array is steller I still question how you can give anything a 10 out of 10 when there is almost always something better in the world, or at least equal to. The highest score I think I could possibly give would be a 9.99, and I think most reviewers would agree with me. I see rating hardware just as if your were reviewing chicks (or women), you could never give a chick a 10 out of 10 cause you never know whats right around the corner, the same goes with hardware. If I thought everything was perfect I'd be a freaking tooth fairy. By the way I don't want anybody to give me the answer the frikin editor of Maximum PC gives to justify scores of pefect 10, but any other opinions are welcomed.
