First of all, congrats to Space X on the first part of this test. It's a 6 to 16 week stay on the ISS before they return.
The armchair quarterback in me is wondering why it takes almost 20 hours to get to the space station...hit the gas pedal & fly right to it man!
I was watching a doc on early space flight & something i never thought of was you have to not only overtake your target but you have to match it's orbit at the same time you want to get there. Change your speed & your orbit changes. Something like that.
Dang, just missed a pass. Might of caught the Crew Dragon following the ISS, if it's clear out.
I saw the last Shuttle before it docked with the ISS one night. Both were very bright & high in the sky.
Anyone see these "trains" of StarLink satellites yet? Couple of months ago i happened to be out after dark & didn't even know they were going to be there. Happened to look up & saw one... thought, cool...outside for 30 seconds & saw a satellite already. Looked to the West & wondered what stars would be that bright at that time. Took a few seconds to realize they were moving. There were about 10 of them altogether.
