I did a search before I posted this one, saw many threads with "best keyboard/bang per buck" threads, but I haven't seen one for actual preferences and why. I'd make a poll if I knew how to, but I once got into a discussion with my cousin about this. Personally I prefer a slim keyboard(the keys are like flat tiles), not only because I'm so used to it(all I use is a laptop these days), but because its quiet and the low depression distance ables for me to type thriftier(so it feels at least).
My cousin on the other hand likes full keyboards, those with bulging cubicle keys with nice deep presses to engage the keys. Ironically, he types faster on such keyboards, I guess because he's used to the feeling.
I like the feedback of each key, one that is not too light to mis-press, or one too stiff to over-press, but to each his own.
So what is the question you might ask? Which keyboard is your favorite and why? I will eventually have to wheel out the cash to build myself a desktop rig again(I haven't used one for 3 and half years almost, or not one that was mine).
I already have an idea of what cpu/mobo/components I might use, but I've totally neglected some of the most essential peripherals, the keyboard and the mouse(another story for the mouse...I like it plain and simple, but again with swift easy buttons, but I tend to like stiff wheels with feedback).
