Pet Rabbits?

Hi.

I just got a pet bunny (a little baby, my guess is 8-12 weeks old, or at least she seems that way). She's a black mini lop eared (I think that's the official name). She's too cute. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has pet rabbits (as indoor pets) and if anyone has some training tips. Thanks for any advice.

There is a site called house rabbits society I think with very good info.
Get the ah heck fixed other wise they are so hormonal and aggressive its crazy and those bites hurt!
They are pretty easy to litter train he/she will pick a corner then you put their litter box in the corner they pick.
If you have a specific corner in mind then you have to lock them into that samll area and slowly increase it in size so they 'learn' thats their corner.
If they pee on your bed its cause they love you really. . . .
Other than that they are fun aren't really mellow young rabbits are a pain in the asss but older ones get pretty nice.
Mines about 4 now but he's a Netherland dwarf so I think he might be a little higher strung Most of the lops even mini lops I've seen are calmer.

I just bought my boys 2 bunnies named Bugs and Ickaboo Bugs is a reg. american and Ickaboo is a Rex they are really tame and friendly we are keeping them outside for the summer and inside for the winter. They were 8 weeks when I bought them. Rabbits are very very cute animals and make great pets. Good luck with them. We have not got around to training yet but if we do I'll let you know if I find any good tips or books.
