Oh please. PETA is no where near as dangerous as ISIS or Republicans, no comparison.

PETA are a weird bunch. They do legitimate undercover operations to uncover real issues that need addressing but they also do really, really stupid shit about the most inane things as well!

But, in the coming future, it will probably happen in a much, much bigger way, than now.

E.g. Very few people actually drive 100% electric vehicles.
But in coming decades, that is likely to change, dramatically.
Banning of new cars being Petrol/Gasoline/Diesel, seems to have already been announced, in some areas of the world.

I'm NOT looking forward to the proposed replacements of meat.
Such as INSECTS.

For example, this very recent news story, about eating them.
I would feel sick, just reading the article and/or its pictures, video if applicable.

Looks like PETA is becoming a parody of themselves.

No, they actually believe all of that bullshit they are spouting. They are really that batshit crazy and honestly, I don't think this is even close to their craziest "demand". Pretty sure they were demanding that all animals be let go and allow them to "roam" in their natural habitats. Sadly they used to do some pretty good work at getting truly horrific places abusing and even torturing animals shut down, in some cases their investigations have even led to criminal charges. Hell, they may still be doing good work like that but their batshit craziness means no one is paying attention to any of that. At this point, I doubt their protests, which have worked in the past at getting things like certain clothing manufacturers to stop using fur among other things, carry nearly as much weight as it used to. I think they have almost neutered themselves, except for obvious criminal activity, because they didn't just cross the crazy line they drove right up to the edge and did this:

Actually, my understanding is that it has already begun to happen.

Executive summary:
The extreme fast rearing techniques used in the meat industry, such as for chicken production. Where growth hormones, severely cramped living conditions for the chickens, so their muscles don't develop properly and other stuff.
Is reckoned to have significantly reduced the quality of meats (race to the bottom, cheapest), such as chicken.
Which may cause (long term), health issues.

Don't forget, that one day you may be in your 70s, 80s, 90s, and need close relatives to look after you, some of the time.
By then, those "insect" meat replacements, will be much more plentiful.

So, guess what they will be spoon feeding you, for each meal ?
Hint: This is revenge for the insects you gave us in our Christmas stockings, all those years ago.
