Actually, that was kinda disturbing. Can somebody confirm if this is true or not?

I am not the one living in a dreamworld. I don't need the reality check, you do. When did I ever say that croplands coexist peacefully with nature. Do you know how much waste a cow makes a day? How much enery is required for one pound of meat compared to one pound of wheat. Tell me then which one has a more adverse effect on nature. I dont kill pigs by eating rice you fvcking idiot. And you HAVE to be a fcking child to ever say "wakey wakey little retard", STOP POSTING and KILL YOURSELF.
Wow, you got issues...
And just off-hand, I'd say you began the childish name-calling when you called OulOat a "fvcking idiot." Which you have called him twice.
Oh yeah, and he's right. We all live at the expense of other creatures. Your vegetarianism just gives you a false sense of superiority which (when you distribute it to others) weakens your cause. You could have argued that vegetarianism has less impact than meat-eating (which would have been true), but to argue that it has none at all is plain foolishness.
Anyway, you're living in denial, Excelsior, but that's more than obvious from your hostile attitude and the way you told another living creature to "kill yourself." I don't think you can post here and try to claim the moral high ground on this subject after doing that.

I have issues? He is the one comparing the deaths of animals from a vegetarian diet to a diet with meat. How can you compare the two? I never said name calling itself was childish, it truly isnt. The fact that he said "wakey wakey little retard is". I have never heard a grown person say "wakey wakey". I mean, WTF is that. See, you are wrong. Where did I ever say we DON'T live at the expense of other creatures? You are so terribly wrong it isn't even funny. You are making this stuff up in your head. I am not the one who feels superior. I suggest you go read the Vegan thread I started before assuming things about me. I did argue that it has less impact than meat eating. See, yet again you are putting words into my mouth. I didn't say that it has no impact at all.

No, I am not living in denial. Until you provide proof that I am living in denial, I won't believe it. Well, the reason I have no problem telling him to kill himself is because he said something that pissed me off. An animal has yet to say something to me that pissed me off, and if it did, I probably would kill it. Last time I checked cows/pigs/chickens don't talk.

Vic, I beg of you, stop claiming that I ever said I was more superior or that I hold the moral high ground. I never, EVER, said that. Learn how to read, please.

Wakey wakey again dude, you just took the high ground saying WTF is a grown man using wakey wakey.

You seem confused perhaps due to a lack of meat in your diet.

Anyone know when the sequel to that PETA flick is coming out, I want to fire up the grill and watch it with some friends.

Much like the animals you are defending you are becoming the bottom of the food chain here too.

How is that taking the moral highground? You are digging yourself a deeper whole. Get out while you can. I am not confused, I know that being a vegetarian has much less of an impact on animals than eating meat. You can't seem to grasp that simple concept. I for one, would like to know what makes you feel so "manly", strong, and great by eating meat? Oooo, fire up the grill, that show'em. How am I becoming the bottom of the food chain? Arguing with dimwits like yourself is really futile. Vic doesn't get it either, but thats ok, he can believe whatever he wants.

I didn't say moral high ground, I said high ground....saying grown ups don't say 'wakey wakey' did so....let me guess you weren't allowed to laugh in your house while you ate your peas and carrots.

You may not be confused about the impact of animals, but that was not what I was addressing either.

I am not manly by eating meat. I do eat alot of veggie only meals too. I am manly when I wax your chicks backside.

Did it even occur to you when you think *EVERYONE* else is wrong, it's time to look in the mirror to see the real chump?

As far as digging myself a deeper 'whole' I just keep them about 3-4' deep, if they are going to find the body, they are going to find it.

Yeah, my fault, you didn't say moral ground, Vic did. I actually didn't eat peas or carrots much growing up. Infact, I didn't care much for vegtables. I ate a lot of meat though . I thought thats what you were addressing, besides me being a "hypocrite". I just don't see how vegetarians are hypocrites when eating meat obviously affects the lives of animals 100x more than not eating meat (if not more).

I don't have a chick for you to bang, so..I guess you WOULD be fcking my left hand. Thats far from manly . Where did I say everyone else is wrong? You still have me all wrong here. I am not against those who eat meat, nor do I look down on them. I just don't see how I am the chump here just cause I choose to not eat meat. And...forget about my spelling errors, those weren't on purpose...I am really fcking tired. Calculus, Physics, etc..itll do that to you.

don't get me wrong here, I am just busting your chops....I didn't really attack you ever and I think you got the wrong guy in your response...

I wholeheartedly agree (everytime I say that I think of Wozinak's quote for Allied Engineering(sp) in the apple ][ and //e days)...that as a vegetarian or even a vegan your impact on animals is less than a meat eater. I also will say that although you realize animals with nice furry bodies and so cute eyes do die for your vegetable only lifestyle, many think not one creature with two eyes and a brain are harmed in the planting, growing, harvesting, shipment, and storage of their veggie food items.....sometimes many more compared to a meat storage facility since most 'pests' like grains rather than 'meats'.

I don't tread on anyones lifestyle unless the are advocating it incorrectly. I have been utterly fuxored in my past due to these kinds of advocates who go about spewing lies and only half truths unknowingly and sucking in other's buying it who also continue the cycle.....meanwhile some bastard elsewhere is laughing hysterically while he counts his money the suckers made him/her.

and that's the way the world goes 'round.

Yeah I figured you were. So you're saying more mice die from my vegetarian lifestyle compared to a meat eaters? Well..to that I say...a mouse weighs what..no more than 50g? That and tons of lab rats/mice are used for testing (not that I am in favor of that). Most would agree (even vegs and vegans) that a cow being raised and slaughtered for meat is far worse than a mouse dying in the harvesting, shipment, and storage of the grains I consume. Do you have an numbers/stats on this btw? Just wondering. I wasn't aware that the growers/distributers worried about the pests much, or did anything about them.

Am I advocating mine incorrectly? I don't really try to advocate it all, but support my opinion yeah. How have you been fuxored in the past?

I think that being selective in which lives you take unreasonable and playing god.

what about slime molds, they are like half plant half animal. unfortunately we humans can't live eating rocks or something. we share a common ancestor with every living thing on the planet, so deciding what to eat just determines how far back you want to go, no mammals ok that makes the split over 200 million years ago, no fish either makes it a couple more hundred million years, but our ancestors split off from plants a really long time ago, so its ok to eat those, they don't feel pain.

the obvious has been stated, of course the animals should be treated better, but that would cost more, its just like there should be better help for the poor or disabled, but that would cost more. as a side note my brother brought up a great point about the "democracy" we have in the US. the war/occupation/restoration of Iraq is costing every american on average $1000, if you asked each person if they would like to donate $1000 to this effort how many people do you think would give the money for it? most likely over 99% would tell you to get lost. democracy in action!

MADD/SADD totally did it to me. I drank 4 beers in about a 6 hour period....yet blew as if I drank 12 in 1 hour or something. You do not pass GO you do not collect $200 you go directly to Jail. Now to contest this 'obvious' thing (the bartender was willing to come to trial and say I only drank what he gave me since I sat pretty much at the same spot all night (it was a good spot)) would cost me over $40k and about a year without driving and still no guarantees since the Breathalyzer 2001 with the Brain Probe has been proven by MADD to be accurate.

It's a mess and the sad part is I can guarantee it was due to the chick that had me move in with her changing her mind even though I told her I was still paying rent at my old place. She had all cop friends and I got arrested pulling into our driveway.

So I have problems with advocates....most of the MADD/SADD members have no idea about what they are campaigning for if you talk to them....they have no idea how 'rich' their organization is and the money and political clout is controls.

I agree conditions need to be better.. but

I love honeysuckel turkeys..

One time I bought a live Amish raised turkey... it tasted nothing like my honeysuckle.
I baked it for a pot luck at work and nobody liked it.

We are conditioned to eat this stuff.

True, but...who is a blind advocate here? Last time I checked, no one.

Most people have never seen these kinds of things.

There is also a school of thought that everything is prim and proper when the inspectors arrive, but goes back to quick and dirty when they leave.

I am all for eating meat, but I am totally against the animal suffering. If it costs an extra penny, dollar, five bucks to make my roast I expect to pay that if it will be a quick and painless death. As a human, as opposed to a bear or lion, I feel that is our duty to provide as superiors to our food stock. There are plenty of cheap and quick execution methods for those that argue about prices of bullets and the like....the most common is the air-powered bolt.
