Compassion for other living creatures is a trait which defines mankind. Perhaps you should look into it.

Bingo.

All this cruelty underminds our society. Compasion to dogs put not to chickens?

WhatI got from this is that the cruelty shown is EXTRA, and by all means NOT necessary. I am all for financially rewarding good institutions. I have seen MANY WELL RUN DAIRY farms......why can't they all be that way? Obviously it isn't easy but we MUST try.

Vegeterianism is foolish as it is too extreme for the populous to accept ....ie Dennis Leary.....which is the opposite of what PETA believes. They think bepople will listen to extremism when in fact people redicule its unconventiallity.

Lobbying sucks and it continues to keep this country in a marshland of filth when it could be so much better.

YOou know what would be memorable for all time...if someone who was elected President and after being elected would stop, leave all his politcal favors and promises at the door, wipe his feet, and do their best to further humanity, not his friends.

Sure they would
Example?

OK OK maybe not worse, but watch the discovery channel sometime and see if animals in the wild live utopian lives.

At least they get to live and EVOLVE...the most precious gift existance can give to a species.

Goose you are going all over the place with those comments....attacking American mostly, which you are one correct?

What is your point(s)?

Lobbying sucks and it continues to keep this country in a marshland of filth when it could be so much better.

There is nothing wrong with lobbying, what is wrong is giving a lobby your vote without doing research....which is what most people do....PETA? oh count my vote MADD? oh count my vote, etc.

YOou know what would be memorable for all time...if someone who was elected President and after being elected would stop, leave all his politcal favors and promises at the door, wipe his feet, and do their best to further humanity, not his friends.

It's happened more or less a couple times and usually someone ends up shot over it.

i am ready to go get a nice big juicy hamburger. brb

back, wow that was great, i cant wait to have another one. i dont see a problem with eating animals, they are raised to be eaten, so why not eat them. if you are vegitarian all you are doing is causing more slaughtered animals to go to waste. the beef manufactures are not going to slaughter less cows if there are more vegitarians, so more of the meat will go to waste due to spoilage. what is the point of not eating meat?

So by your logic, if people boycott all cars, and stop buying them, car manufacturers will keep on making cars?

no, there is no way to get EVERYONE to stop eating meat or do any activity, it is human nature to make decisions for ones self. i dont even think that PETA could get a number of people to convert to vegitarism that would have any effect on the meat market. i will always eat meat, my family will always eat meat. Meat is good, and it always will be.

How many people converted to vegitarism after this movie? very few to none i am guessing, even if 1 tenth of all people stopped eating meat right now, there would still be a very big meat market. i dont see why people waste their time and hard earned money on PETA and other similar organizations.

Because people believe in a cause, and support it. By your logic, no idea or philosophy would ever get any support.

name an idea or philosophy that has gained enough support to actually effect the human race as a whole. there are very few if any. it will always be like that. there are way to many people in this world for everyone to agree on one thing to actually cause a global change

Democracy, human rights, Civil rights movement, and thes women rights movement. All of these also started as very small, and a lot of people doubted that these things will ever be seen.

Wow. Just the amount of shear ignorance, apathy, and cold-heartedness displayed in the replies here amazes me. Just a few for example:

I've stopped paying attention to PETA propaganda.

Oh, that video was supposed to make me feel bad?

It's true that the animals don't live very good lives, but the world needs to eat, and eat cheaply.

In most parts of the world, people just want to be able to choose to eat.

...if you can cut its throat and have it stay alive.... nice try Alec. Im not buyin your propaganda and your movies all suck too.

am human therefore > anything else on the planet.

i dont care if they die like on that video or its my uncle shooting an arrow into a deer from a tree.. i eat meat and am proud of it.

i dont see a problem with eating animals, they are raised to be eaten, so why not eat them.

I'll stop here. Truely sad.

You are truly stupid. I mean amazingly, astoundingly, inconceivably retarded. Ill tell you why you shouldnt eat them. Factory farms, enough said. If you can't grasp that, then please go slaughter yourself like the cow you just ate. Ever head of supply and demand? I guess not. How old are you? Lets see here...
More people eating meat = more need for meat = more animals killed to satisfy need.
Less people eating meat = less of a need for meat = less animals killed since the demand has decreased.

Get it now?

And that is why Maddox is an idiot. I used to like him, and hell, I still think half of his stuff is funny, but that whole bit on the sponsor a vegetarian thing was a perfect chance for his arrogance to shine.

I don't have a problem with vegetarians in general. It's just the rabid meat-haters that he's ripping on who I have an issue with. If I choose the meat chili over vegetarian in the cafeteria, that's my choice.

Yeah, I didn't think you did. For some reason rabid meat-haters sounds strange . Right, and as a senior in high school, I live with my meat eating parents. I don't try to change the way they eat, although sometimes it is difficult.

I'd start a webcomic off that, but I'd be accused of hijacking Bob the Angry Flower
