Ok as one of the original people that spearheaded the drive to get Rollo banned for not disclosing he was part of the nVidia viral marketing program, I think his punishment has been enough and he should be allowed to return. These boards were far more interesting with him around and he had never outright attacked anyone even if he didn't disclose his relationship with nVidia. Furthermore, now that he discloses in his sig. that he's an nVidia focus group member, he can bring valuable support and knowledge to us about nVidia products. There are many here that have been complaining about nVidia drivers but nobody has been around to listen, with Rollo around we'll know he has nVidia's ear and he can report problems we post directly to them. So I'm asking everyone to take what I've said into consideration and support his return to these forums.
Edit:
To everyone voting no or even considering voting no: Rollo will NOT misbehave himself in the least when he comes here. Since he is directly affiliated with nVidia's focus group program now, they are required to act in a professional manner. So that means his presence will be for the most part beneficial to the video forums. As I said in the initial post and I'll reiterate, I believe he will be a positive contributing poster to these forums because he is affiliated with nVidia and he tends to get new hardware and software (drivers) before many other sources do. Many have noted his negative behavior in the past but they glossed over the contributions he made as well such as doing extensive SLi testing on his own time for the benefit of the community as well as helping people whenever they had issues with their nVidia hardware. What he did was regrettable but it does not warrant a permanent ban, especially now that AEG is gone and as a focus group member, he discloses his affiliation in his signature and is not allowed to act unprofessional. I know some of you may be reticent about his return due to some past behavior but surely you can make an exception one time--especially since it's been so long and circumstances are far different now.
