I voted no, but it depends. If he continued to post how he did when he got banned, then no. If he didnt, then it wouldnt bother me. I dont post here enough anymore to care either way really.

Its not like he cant get another account. He probably already has one. Its impossible for a forum to ban anyone, if they really want to post. So many different ways to get around it.

I was here when all that AEG crap went down. It was a shock to hear Rollo was in the viral marketing and people got banned for accusing him of it. But that's old news. If he is willing to put his affiliation with nVidia in his sig, then I have no problem with him returning. Did I like "everything" Rollo said? Hell no, but I believe EVERYONE deserves a second chance. Besides, whenever he posts, people will already know his slant, and be able to judge his comments based on it.

Put me down as voting to bring Rollo back so long as his affiliation with NVIDIA is disclosed. He was always entertaining and apart from trying to ban people who accused him (correctly as it turns out) of being an AEG shill I always found him to be unfailingly polite even when we argued here.

Come on, don't you want someone to tell you that 7800GTX is good value at $750? Right now Rollo would have a huge thread up on why $200 8600GTS is a tremendous value as it brings DX10 to the masses (with little mention of its weaknesses - like performance). I mean who would recommend 5900XT over 9800Pro? Ah those were fun times...

We know one thing for sure - he would have been the first guy with 2 8800GTXs on here heheh with about 10 gaming benchmarks for those few who are still interested in SLI.

When he said the 7800GTX 512mb for $750 (don't remember the exact number he said) was a good value, he was talking about turning around and selling it on ebay for a huge profit.

Rollo usually never said anything so blatantly stupid like that. His views may have been over exaggerated and he may have stretched the truth, but everything he said had some kind of valid point to it. It may have been a dumb point, but it was generally true.

After he threatened to get me banned (what did he say when he quoted people? (QFR? QFE? what did he use?) because I implied that he's an AEG rep, and later on finding out that he actually is. It kind of pissed me off.

I remember when this whole AEG thing started, and he didn't post for a couple of days after everybody got pissed, and then he said that he "came back from vacation and found people saying that he's working for AEG, and he's amazed"...

I participated in that thread and IIRC it was about 2-3 weeks before the launch of the 7900 series...why would you buy the 7800GTX 512 just before the launch of the 7900?? If the 7900 blew the 7800GTX 512 you couldn't really ebay it for profit.

I voted NO. I liked pre-AEG Rollo and he had a lot to contribute, was a good impartial poster with good reasoning, but the second he went AEG he suddenly changed and became a rabid zombie fanboy. It was all to obvious of a change and happened even before the AEG stories broke. Had he used his newly aquired AEG afilliation differently and he could have, I would not have a problem. But he totally sold out and deserved a banning. If you like Rollo, then go hang-out at the nvidia forums.

Besides, I thought he was still here....only not AS Rollo.
