Its fairly Americanized but the dished are somewhat differ from the moms and pops Chinese place so I'd say its well worth it to visit at least once.
Most of the dishes there are very tasty also.

They're not bad just because they serve Americanized Chinese food. I thought their food was pretty good, but the portions you get for the price is ridiculous.

Salt & Pepper Calamari is my favorite appetizer-it is really good. I liked the lemon scallops, the honey chicken is really good also as is the crispy honey shrimp. Orange peel shrimp is good as well.

Who gives a rat's ass if it isn't authentic Chinese cuisine? It's freaking tasty and well worth it to dine there!!!

THat stuff is served as Chinese food, but it's not the ONLY Chinese food. I don't know why a guy named after a Korean food is talking about Chinese food.

If you like Chinese Food, you will probably think PF Changs is the most overrated restaurant on the face of the planet. I had heard nothing but good things as well, but I consider myself a Chinese Food Coneissuer. It was by far some the most overrated food I've ever had, and wouldn't even rank in the top 10 of Chinese food restaurants I've eaten at.

EDIT: I'll just add that anyone who thinks PF Changs is really that good, hasn't lived much or been to many other Chinese food restaurants. It has nothing to do with the "Americanized" dishes, it has to do with taste - and the fact that SOOO many people think its the bestest of the best Chinese food proves that people have poor taste. I see 100 new VW Beetles every day, its still one of the ugliest, nastiest and overhyped cars on the road. Somehow things start snowballing and become hugely popular even though its complete Sh!t. That is PF Changs

I love PF Changs. For appetizers, everybody seems to get the lettuce wraps, which are very good. Last time I went we got the Kung Pao Scallops and those were freaking amazing. They were the best Scallops I've ever had. Changs Spicy Chicken, Sweet Crispy Shrimp, Dan Dan Noodles, Mongolian Beef, etc. etc. etc. are all good. Actually I've never had a dish there that I didn't like, but I highly recommend the Kung Pao Scallops.
