PF Chang's Chinese Bistro

I've heard nothing but good things about PF Chang's Chinese Bistro so I scheduled an offsite dinner meeting at the restaurant. (I know, i know, it isn't too smart to schedule a meeting at a place you've never been to before, but I?ve heard nothing but good things from my colleagues and have been meaning to try to place). Anyway, has anyone else been here before? What's good to order? Favorite dishes?

I think it's a great place. To be honest I usually go with a group of people and we tend to get a lot of different items and share. I love the Spicy Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Hell, you can pretty much think of your options as the same stuff you would get at your normal take-out Chinese place but at a much greater taste/quality level. The rice is awesome.

i got to admit.... its not bad.....BUT....after growing up in the china town area of the southwest side of houston, tx.... it makes you think, "Why am I paying 3 times as much for something that I can get for less elsewhere?..... oh wait, I remember now... I came for the milf's!!"

I think this is what they kind of push for, I like it.

yep and if you like tofu, the ma po tofu is pretty good as well, for appatizers start off with the lettuce wraps.

My SO found a recipe for lettuce raps online and made them they weren?t as good but very close. She studies Culinary Art.

i LOVE their scallops - any version. also the orange chicken is decent. i haven't been there in so long, since i'd rather get real chinese food, but it's a good "work place dinner" place if that's what you're going for. the food is fairly inoffensive, just be mindful of seafood allergies.

ahhhh they have this cucumber appetizer that's so great - it's refreshing and yummy.

It's americanized chinese food so I don't go in there expecting authentic sht.

However, I find their mongolian beef + lettuce wraps to be quite tasty

PF Chang to Chinese food is what Typhoon is to Thai food ... a disgrace. Not to mention, Chinese food shouldn't cost that much.
