Title is kind of it but to add some details.
I currently have business class fiber optic for my internet. I've ordered up Starlink that I'm hoping to replace the fiber with. I'm not 100% convinced Starlink will do what I want so I want to run both at the same time so I can get some better metrics to make the decision to drop fiber.
My pfsence box has two 10g ports and 2 1g ports. So no big deal with having the ability to add it
It sounds like I just:
1) add/enable the new interface
2) reserved networks section to enable both options(haven't looked yet, reading document )
3) create gateway group (then determine if load balance or primary/backup)
I've got several computers on the network(I've lost count). But I have one that I'd like to do all my experiments on.
So the question I have is there an easy method to allow me to select which internet to use at any given time for a machine?
Or barring that, how about specifying which computer gets which network? Example, computer A always goes through Starlink while computer B always goes through fiber optic.
