PhantomRacoon is obviously spamming the boards with his/her moronic questions.

Because of the needless posts, legitimate posts from legitimate users are being dragged down and buried and do not get adequate responses.

PhantomRacoon's posts are hurting this community in this manner. His/her posts could be easily answered by doing a simple search. Moreover, PhantomRacoon's replies to community in general have been absurd, insulting, rude and arrogant. This means that his/her posts are nothing but flamebaits and do nothing but incite aggravation.

To the mods of this esteemed community. Kindly exercise good judgement (banning would be a great idea) and do as you see fit to lessen these trolling posts. I believe it is pretty apparent that PhantomRacoon isn't contributing positively to this forum and should be banned.

While aggravating, being a noob does not normally invoke a ban. It's not like he/she is going around deliberately starting flamewars or bumping threads incessantly -- just asking a lot of very basic and vague questions and sort of being a general idiot.

A warning, and/or a vacation for a couple days would be more appropriate. Provide some time to give him/her a chance to figure out why posting dozens of threads in a forum like this asking very basic questions is not usually a good plan.

It's too bad you don't have to pass a basic competency exam proving:
1. You know how to search
2. You know what all those colorful, friendly tabs at the top of the screen lead to.

We all were n00bs once. But using search a person can answer many of their own questions without needing to start four RAM threads and 2 nforce 4 motherboard threads.

Yes, a warning/vacation would be a good start. However, it is pretty clear that PhantomRacoon is DELIBERATELY spamming the board with moronic questions. Peopple have tried to help him/her but helpful posters often get insulted by this person in return.

Also, in most of PhantomRacoon's posts, people have been telling him/her to use the search button or at least do a little research, but still, he/she continues to start multiple threads with the same subject matter. Why else would LordPhoenix start this thread urging PhantomRacoon to post all of his/her questions here?

PhantomRacoon knows very well that what he/she is doing is not right and very aggravating. Replies to his/her posts make it clear that what he/she is doing (spamming/multiple threads/useless threads) is wrong.
