uh, Philips itself is fine, i think you're confusing them with magnavox, their lower end brand

Not really. The picture is quite inferior compared to a Panasonic. Of course, at that price, it may be worth it to some.

Anyone know what the warranty is for it? I can't seem to be able to find info on the warranty on their site.

I have had a Phillips for around 10yrs. It is still a wonderful TV. Nothing wrong with them at all.

Sure Phillips is a nice brand, it's a Phillips refurb to be wary of.

We are talking plasma here. There is nothing technically wrong with a philips TV, especially for that price. Picture quality wise however, it's way behind the market leaders.

90 days most likely. its what my refurb 30pw8420/37b has. when it works its ok, but getting it to work consistently is a problem.

mines about 2 months old now and i've had problems since day one. trying to get a service tech is a pain in the ass. there aren't any local services places and the closest ones are like 25 miles away and won't drive that far to do service. philips support escalated my issue and it will be 2-3 days before i get a response back on what to do.

That price is almost as good as my employee discount (refurbs are cheaper)... except I can get a new one.
