Phillips 107E 17" monitor for $110 after rebate at Staples

I was at Staples 30 min ago. They were out of 107E, but had 107S for ~180. However, they(as well as myself) had no idea what this "instant store rebate of $80.00" was about. In rang its full price at checkout. What am I missing here?

I went To Staples yesterday and I asked if they had any more of the Philips monitors. He asked the manager and the manager told me about the 107E replacement with the instant $80 off. I had to go to the customer service desk, where the manager took out a piece of paper and punch in a code to give me the discount and with my $20 internet discount print out

I got the replacement deal, Philips 107S 17" too, they were actually out of them too, except for a floor model they had recently put out. The dude got some kind of paper that told him about the $80 instant off. He really went out of his way to give me a deal, I don't know if they are not supposed to sell floor models or what. I was tickled I wouldn't have to wait for a MIR too. I didn't think of the 20 off 100 or I could'a made it better. Don't know if I would have had the heart to, though, after all the trouble he went to to help me out.

The girl rang it up wrong at first too, and it was almost free, hey, I would have told her in a heartbeat. What goes around, comes around they say, and I think they said right that time.

Ok I went to my staples and they don't have the 107S in stock, they have a display 107S though. What do I do to get it with a $80 instant rebate?


edit: I went there again. The monitor on display was a 107S21. The manger said it's different from the 107s and did not let me have it. I regret not asking more questions when I was there but I don't want to go back for a 3rd time. I should of asked if he could substitute that display 107S21.

Just came back from my local Staples, they happen to have 2 107s replacement for the 107E.
Its marked $149 with $50 main-in-rebate. Btw, the MIR expires 3-17 !!!
But because it can't be used for the 107e, the store manager said they will give me a $50 instant rebate for the 107s. So marks it down to $100

But when I tried to use a $20 off $100 coupon, they told me I have to show them a copy of the actual coupon, or a copy of the coupon from any of the email I receive.

Does anyone have any Staples Email that contain the coupon that can forward me a copy?
Or do a scan of the coupon?

Anyone have there reciept that they can scan? Or more info about the instant rebate for the 107S. I was at Staples and talked to the store manager and he said that he doesn't know of any deal with the 107S monitor.

I stopped in the local Staples and the monitor here is $150 with a $50 MIR. I think they are doing different deals in different regions. It was a moot point though as every staples in the area is sold out the monitor and the substitute monitor. Oh well, win some, lose some.

The Staples around here had 7 of the 107S. Does the instant rebate show at the registar?

I have this montior, and it sits next to my IIyama, and looks not quite as nice (for 1/4 the price) but it works just fine.

I recommend them to others who are looking for size for the buck.
P.S. My wife likes it b/c she thinks the design is cute.

Can someone find out the $80 instant rebate info for the 107s monitor? The store here in Waldorf, MD had many of them. But the manager knew nothing about the instant rebate. Please help me, this 14" monitor of mine is flickering and dying on me!! Thanks guys

I received a letter last Wed from Staples with $10 off $30 coupon for first time purchae at local stores. I think many of you should have received that letter too.

TEEZLE, tell them to use coupon 85413 -- that appears to be the "instant rebate". When I asked a Staples manager for the 107S instant rebate, he told the cashier to use this coupon. I can email you a copy of the receipt with the coupon applied, if you have problems.

Just got me a 107E. Nice. Using it now. Mine came out to $149.98-$10(StudentAdvantageCard)-$20 coupon x 1.08(Ca. Tax)=$129.57-$50mir=$79.57. I did not get an instant rebate. Was I suppost to? They have the 107s advertised for $149.98-$50 MIR. What's the difference between the 107E and the 107S.

Anyone know where the lastest drivers for the 107E at the philips website? I don't see the 107e in their drivers list?

Formax that would be great if you would email me your copy of the receipt. There is an a-hole manager over here and I want to shut him up. If he doesn't give me the instant rebate I'm going to call the district manager. This is not the first time there were markdowns and he told me that he wouldn't give me the discount?!?! He claims every time that there are always mistakes on the computer system, but when I go the day after all the stuff is gone! I think he buys the stuff himself! Thanks for any help you can give me.
