Phillips CDRW $40 rebate at last

The Phillips CDRW was purchased 7/9/01. It has been over 5 months. I spent some time on the phone today. Talked to Phillips rebate center they said yada yada yada 3-4 weeks more. Called Staples went round and round. Was polite but kept asking if as a representative of Staples, they wanted Staples included in the class action suit or would prefer small claims court in 13 different states. Hey it sounded good and they certainly paid attention. Finally got a number to Staples rebate problem handler. 866 737 4933. She said go to store and explain to manager or general manager they would probably handle it on the spot, OR call office of the president 800 338 0252. This is automated system. Do not pick an option just hold for a rep. Took about 10 minutes after I got a rep on line. Staples is cutting a check. Be here in 7-10 days. Perhaps the rest of you should make the calls too.
