Pho...how much do you pay for it?

No more than $5-10...to me, pho will always be a comfort, friends-out food...making it all fancy (don't even know how you'd do it) would just ruin it for me.

i think it was 4 bucks back in san jose, but i haven't had pho up there in forever. there's this one place i call "3.95" (it used to be 3.50) back in san jose that had cheap pho.

I don't know the name, but it's at the intersection of 1st street and Harbor Blvd. (go on 405, exit on Harbor Blvd., go north. once u hit 1st street, bust a U, then immediately take a right into the plaza)

Edit: OK, i tried to look it up on google. It's actually in Santa Ana, it's called Pho Cali.

Woot! I live in San Gabriel and really close to Alhambra! Pho is crazy! Vietnamese people FTW!

But uhh...my mom usually makes the pho. Tastes somewhat better than the restaurants' and no MSG at ALL!

Saigon Flavor FTW. And Pho Cali is only 15 minutes away from Irvine, I'll chcek it out some day.

$4-5 on the Ave if I recall. I'm not a big fan of pho though.

Also, from what I recall reading, MSG really isn't that bad for you.

i thought "msg is bad for you" is a myth, but in reality its like any other spice out there. Its just that the western world didn't evolve with it so their bodies can't handle it as well

had pho tonight at one of the cheap but good places in SF on irving st. $5.20 for a large #1. at some of the higher class vietnamese restaurants (if there is such a thing), it runs about $6-7.

Pho rocks especially on cold days. 4.95/5.95 around north Dallas where I'm at.

$7 or so CDN. But i almost never eat pho out, i prefer my mom's. Tastes better, and i get to load it with tripe, beef, and oxtails.
