Dallas is good. So is San Antonio. Those are the only two real threats I see between the phoenix suns and a championship. The eartern conference is so weak its rediculous.

Eastern conference wasn't any stronger last year...

It's not like the Suns were lacking in offense, so I don't see why this makes a difference.

East is weak? Chicago, Orlando, Miami, and Detroit are all very capable teams. Give Chicago a few months to get some cohesion with all of the new players and they will be major contendors.

Miami still has incredible talent, they just need motivation. Detroit is still in a transition period between coaching philosphies and will be very solid this year.

Orlando could be the dark horse in the east and could really wreck some havok providing they stay healthy.

He won't help the Suns when its needed, don't kid yourselves. He needs too many shots (to get in rhythm) and is a defensive disaster. Suns fans are dellusional to think Rose will help them get any further. There's a reason why he get's traded every year or two (from the leagues worst teams), and its not all about salary cap.

I agree. If you think Jalen Rose is the answer to get you over that hump, you are in for an unpleasant surprise. The Suns just need Amare to stay healthy.

The suns had absolute NO bench to rely on last year. This year they added the likes of Marcus Banks and Jalen Rose.

With Amare and Kurt Thomas back, they have some big guys.

So answer me this....Who has a more stacked bench, hell, a more stacked TEAM than the suns?

Leoandro Barbosa, Marcus Banks, Jalen Rose, Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudamire, Steve Nash, Kurt Thomas.

Hell, thats almost enough people to make TWO killer teams.

last year they had tim thomas who made some big shots for them in the playoffs. Not so sure jalen rose will be able to do the same.

I agree, signing him probably won't have much of an impact in the long run. Their team did amazing last year given their limited bench and Amare being out. Now that Amare is back and their players are healthy, look out.......
