ICS runs fine on the GS2 but it's no contest between the One X and the GS2, IMO. The screen on the One X is *that* good.

Don't be pound foolish. Wait for the One X.

The screen on the One X is LCD which is an automatic no go for some of us. Besides buying the One X for it's screen is setting yourself up for disappointment since the SGS 3 is all but guaranteed to have a 720p s-amoled+ display.

The One X is also a very large phone which some people may not want.

I haven't seen the SGS3's 720p SAMOLED+ display so I can't say anything about it but I prefer the One X's SLCD2 panel over the SGS2's low rez SAMOLED+ panel and the Nexus' 720p SAMOLED panel. YMMV.

im sure someone already said this but you should wait and get galaxy 3 in 10 days. it is sure to come out on att as soon as its available and it will be the best phone for the near future by far

Where did you read that the S3 launches on ATT in 10 days? I know Samsung likely won't allow ATT to drag its feet like it did for S2, but I have serious doubts that the S3 will be on ATT in 10 days.

i dunno, announcement may 5, att is their biggest customer and always gets their stuff before anyone else

Thanks for all the advice! Galaxy S II is here, backing up stuff on my SD card as I type this. I'm very happy with the form factor, and the screen is gorgeous even though the pixel density isn't exceptional.

I ran browsermark, stock browser scores 48,000 vs 65,000 on my OG Droid... the modding community looks pretty awesome for this phone though, can't wait!

Enjoy your new phone. I personally use the AOKP ROM on mine with the siyah kernel.

Hmmm, I feel the exact opposite. SAMOLED+ is a definite no go for me considering the whites are so dim. And having the pixels die on me after a couple of years would piss me off.
