kid civilian hurt

We usually aren't exposed to information/images of stuff like this, regardless your stance on the war this is so sad. Warning, this is a pretty graphic image.

pretty tame acutally, I have seen FAR worse and they were posted here, by me actually....

Got any pics of the mass graves of women and children found in Iraq? Videos of people being tossed into wood chippers? What about the 10,000+ a month that died during the "moral" sanctions the French were so motivated about letting go on forever?

I agree it is a sad pic but he is lucky to be alive and have a FREE life in front of him, at the very least he is getting far superior medical care than most enjoyed while Saddam was in power.

It seems that your comment, which has political undertones, lessens/trivializes the experience of this boy--this isnt compare/contrast time.

Edit: Oh I see you added anohter sentence to your comment. nm I guess

And the point of your OP?

To show us that innocent people get hurt by war, thanks, we were aware.

Then you have to consider the difference between life under Saddam, and one as a free person, you tell me, which YOU would prefer?

BTW I got dicked on the birth thing, I signed up for "Prince William, Future King of England" but somehow the paperwork got jacked up, damn liberals running heaven back then......

A sad future for that boy. Maybe it would have been best if he had never been born.

Have you seen any of the photo/video of the beheadings that have taken place? I'm sure you understand the difference in the consequences derived from the acts and their intentions.

Do you have to bring the French into everything? Remember, the U.S. also supported those sanctions.

death is death. the 'intention' of a 500lb bomb is to blow sh*t up. the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

The US did not profit from them in any large scale way and were not involved in the corruption that became, especially with arms smuggling. The US supported LOOSENING the sanctions IF the SMUGGLING was also reduced, which, sorry to have to say it again, the FRENCH opposed. Why?

They need to be called out for their role in the immoral corruption the program fostered and the misery it inflicted on the people of Iraq. They brought the extra criticism on themselves for they way they presented themselves in the affair, and because of the ferocity in which they protected Saddam. I did not realize I was the one who thrust them into the forefront of this issue, I thought that was their own doing. So nice of you to jump to their defense though, says ALOT.....

No you are not aware. You are safe in your Barcolounger cheering while the Dub kills and maims innocent kids. Your neighborhood is not under siege. You do not have bombs falling around you. You have no idea what it is like. Dubya is worse than any other terrorist.

i agree.
this forum needs more manly, beer-swilling and oblivious posts that compare the intense suffering of another human being (a child, if available) to the superficial discomfort of cosmetic injuries!

How about videos of sadam having people boiled in oil for the fun of it?

If a city allows terrorists to hide in the city then it should expect to be destroyed.

Civilians were told to get out of the city. The terrorists in Falluja could have surrendered and there would have been no civilian casualties. This poor boys injuries are the fault of the terrorists. The blame lies completely with them.

I hope he will fully recover and enjoy his life, free from terrorists.
