I have been looking for a photo printer that will also work as a good all-around home office printer. I have been looking at the HP PhotoSmart 1115 and 1215. I like the 4x6 feeder and the ability to read directly from SmartMedia. In the sub-$300 range, these seem to be the best.
I have read a lot of reviews on the 1215, but very little on the 1115. Also, HP's site also has limited informaiton. From what I can tell, the 1115 only has 8MB of memory (versus 16MB) which makes it a little slower and it doesn't have the IR port. With a $100 price difference, why would I go with HP 1215 that everyone seems to be pushing?
Does anyone have any information on these two printers? Any other printer recommendations?
