PHOTOALLEY confirmation

did anyone get their confirmation through the mail?
i haven't... does it mean that my order didn't go through? i order a camara last nite....

I didn't receive confirmation either, I hope PhotoAlley is not those New York based photographic company which have very bad reputation.

 

I have not either. Photoalley is a reputable vendor, but their technology backbone is not good. My guess is that they have stopped the MSN promotion but did not yet announce that, instead they are just not processing orders with MSN discount.

Has anyone called the customer service for that ???

guys do your research first. with bizrate they have a 9.0 rating out of 10 by over 2500 customers. i spoke with them twice and they emailed me this.

this was regarding my order for a nikon 950 that was backordered. you can imagine with their $off coupons and 20% msn thing that they are getting hammered. im confident they will pull through for everyone.

I talked with CS yesterday. He said my Coolpix 950 would ship in 7 days whic=h would be December 1st.

I placed two separate Photoalley orders using the MSN Passport thing. Strangely, only one of the two orders was followed by an email confirmation. However, after an extended search at their website, I was able to find an "order status" checker---you have to enter you order confirmation number for it to work, but it was able to confirm (despite the absence of any email confirmation) that my order has actually shipped. Hopefully it's accurate! Still waiting for product to arrive...
