You gotta be kidding. Their prices are WAY outta line. Olympus E-10 for $1999????? They can be had for $1350. $599 for the Olympus 3000? $450 all over the place.

I have not seen prices as low as what you have quoted, even at crummy, shady, gray-marketeers. Buy wherever you want, but I for one prefer not to deal with fly-by-night stores on items this expensive. The Photoalley prices are not the lowest, but they are in line with every other respected retailer.

Check out the Kodak DC4800 - it works well for that (see other thread). Basically:

*$501.93 - Out of pocket

-$100.00 - Kodak DC4800 Rebate

~$376 for Kodak DC4800 camera...

If you try the search engine for deals you used above you'll get lower prices but those are after the $100 rebate. This appears to be the best deal for the DC4800 at the moment.

edit: Forgot - you get 2 day Fedex shipping for free with the father's day sale. Don't forget to change the shipping from UPS to Fedex (it's a drop down box) on the checkout pages so you get free shipping!

Those prices are for gray-market cameras with foreign warranties - only a truly brave (or stupid) soul would buy an E-10 with no U.S. warranty! Regency, one of the cheapest vendors you cite, sells gray-market cameras and tells the customers they are U.S. stock - and you are proposing handing them $1,400!

I suggest anyone considering shopping one of those very cheap vendors check out this link and Reseller Ratings before laying down any plastic.
