I finally managed to get my 2 Dimage 7s by appealing to their emotions a bit - told them by email that it was a 40th Anniversary present for my parents, which one of the cameras was. They finally released the order after that email, though it took repeated emails and calls. Never got beyond an outsourced 'supervisor' by phone; never got a callback from them.
On another recent order, I was told that they are 'unable' to
call an authorization in to my credit card, due to the fact that their site is completely automated...that is why it is nearly impossible to get a human at PhotoAlley to do anything for us.
