We have made upgrades in hardware and software to our lab.
Some of the workstations had PS7 and some CS2.
Installed CS5 on new workstations have but also had to install PS7 on my own for conversion perposes.
The largeformat printer we have the client software can use TIFF or JPG but for some reason crashes with an overflow when CS5 JPGs are sent to it, Hence having PS7 to load and resave JPGs and they go through fine.
I have checked color profiles, and many other settings in both PS's and are identical.
There is a 36k difference in file size on a 10M JPG when saved between the two PS's with PS7 being larger.
Any clues what might be the difference in CS5 JPG over PS7 JPG?
