You know, as soon as her hair and modest makeup were done, she looked great. They didn't need to rearrange her face. Girls like wearing makeup. I'm not persuaded.

Or do they like wearing makeup because it's ingrained in them from youth that it is a good and "fun" thing to do? Sort of like the usual, "Boys play with GI Joes and tools, Girls play with Barbies and do sewing. Boys like blue, girls like pink." Traditional gender roles and behaviors, taught from the time kids are very young.

You say that as if it's automatically a bad thing.

Females are the fairer, child raising sex. It's built into us. They go for the dolls, they play house, they dress up and wear makeup to attract a mate. The general idea behind that is not a learned behavior. The details of fashion and make up of course are, but the motivation comes from deep within. It's part of the evolutionary drive that differentiates the sexes, and I don't see anything wrong it Don't be fooled if you hear one complain about having to wear it. It's the same as when they complain about you paying attention to their chest when it's coming out of a low cut top, with glitter lotion smeared on it.

After watching that video,
I'm more concerned about how to improve my Photoshop skills rather than being concerned over the downfall of society's view on beauty.
