Re: The Pi video transfer.

It isn't anamorphic so I've held off buying this but, just wanted to confirm, they can make an anamorphic transfer from a 1.66:1 orignal aspect ratio without modifying it correct? If not, then I will finally pick it up but otherwise I will wait for an anamorphic release at some point down the road.

Yes you can make anamorphic 1.66:1

Honestly though I don't think you will notice much improvement, it was shot on 16mm film.

Also not in 5.1 (as I recall) but really doesn't matter--its a cool flik.

Those are excellent movies, both well worth $10 each. Pi may be on a low budget, but is one hell of a movie. I absolutely love it.
Requiem is outrageously depressing and sad but it carries meaning and contains some excellent acting and movie making.

I already have the combo, but if I didn't this would be THE way to get it.
