Please respond me!

If only I could say for sure, the MB Temp sensor is the chipset
Most prolly it isn't but just in case: 36-38C

Why don't you try Motherboard Monitor 5.3.7 to tell me your Chipset temp'
I use that excellent program, it's quite accurate and I could compare your temp to mine!

Sorry I've been busy studying and I haven't had the chance to reply. I'll try mother board monitor as soon as I get home tonight.

You win with the way better case but I did what I could with a 40 dollar case from Newegg. I put in a window, blue cathode, painted it yellow and cleaned up the cables We pretty much have identical rigs though. I added the link to the whole view of my case in the OP.

Nice job

I'm still lacking the Audigy ZS though...have to convince myself of consuming less processor power than using onboard
But with the next tech order I gonna put it in as a side dish

Hi Matrix VPR; That's an interesting case. I've never seen a case where the HD's mount sideways. I like that concept. Who makes that case; Please.?

Heh... that first pic may as well be the inside of my own system. I have the exact same trio of coolers, although I have a fan mounted over the video card as well.

There is not a sensor on the nforce chipset, the motherboard reading comes from the winbond chip, the only way you can tell how hot your chipset is bye putting an external temp sensor on it.

I have a fan controller that has 3 temp. sensors and I was planning on trying to apply one to the chipset but I don't really want to take out my MoBo until I have to. What is the advantage of monitoring the Winbond chip? What dose the Windond chip do? I would much rather know the temp of my chipset.

Actually, I have the Enermax Noiestaker and it is very quiet when the fan is turned up all the way. It's dead silent when the fan is on low! I'm sure the Link Depot is also very quite, hence SUPER SILENT, I would be surprised if the Enermax couldn't give it a run for its money. I'm sure Doctorweir would back me on that one. The Link Depot is very appealing. I will have to get one for one of my next systems, just so i can check it out, the only thing is no active PFC which is a must if you live in a stormy, humid state like Michigan. The Link Depot looks really cool!

Good question! Idle i get the same temps. as with the noisy cooler? After an hour or two of CSS the temps are around 61 C. I was getting about 62 C with the stock cooler! The card cost me 90 bucks and was supposed to be temporary but it's really getting the job done so I figured I would beat the sh!t out of it for a bit then upgrade in a few months when the new job kicks in.

Full backup from me on that one...I can't hear anything from the PSU, the CPU-cooler is by far the loudest (if you can call it that) component in my rig. And it is spinning @<1000 when idle...
Bottom line: Even the CPU cooler steps back, when the HDDs shoot of...silence is of utmost importance for me and the PSU supports this perfectly...

Personally I think that to many people take their PSU for granted. I would rather pay extra for a PSU that is going to provide the cleanest power and the coolest, quietest performance. I spent the extra money on the better PSU and sacrificed the 3500+ and went with the 3200+. Then I overclocked to the 3800+ with the kick ass PSU that has no problems with dishing out the extra watts. Now I have a fast, cool, quiet and well PROTECTED rig! That?s just the way that I see it and my opinion is worth beans in comparison to most of the Anand members. Some will agree though. One thing that I'm really not totally sure on is the dual rail debate, though i read an article that compared the Single rail to my PSU and the Enermax performed very well even with an SLI setup.

I agree they try to save money on their PSU and end up having problems, I have two rigs both using a 24 Pin PSU and I didn't cut corners one either rig as far as a PSU.

Have you had any stability problems with the passive northbridge cooler? What's the approx. room temperature?

I am running the same Zalman on my Asus board and I have had no issues with it I get system temps of 42-44 when gaming and it is 81 or so in the house and 90+ outside here in Arizona, I haven't cranked the AC on yet. I do have a 92mm fan on a Zalman CPU bracket blowing on the Chipset. I have a window and I may cut a 120mm hole for a Fan to bring in more air, when I have the side panel of my temps drop 2-4C. I have no stability problems with the side panel on. Remember you have more area to dissipate heat with the Zalman than the dinky HSF fan Asus provided with the mobo, before I installed my system I changed the chipset cooling out.

Ok, good. That sounds about how I'll run my system (in a hot room). However, I don't think that the "system" temperature sensor corresponds with the northbridge temp from what I've read. Have you tried touching the heatsink?
