For some reason, it was scanning my videos folder that was on MY OTHER DRIVE, when I told it to just scan my pictures folder only...
Well when it started scanning my videos, it gave a little preview, and everytime it gave a preview, the nvidia full screen video would kick in, and switch my second monitor to 640x480 to play the video. Except this switched back and forth from my desktop 2048x1536 res to 640x480. I didn't even know what was happening and saw flickers, until I saw a video preview on the screen for a split second.
After my monitor wouldn't display an image anymore, and was blinking a yellow light, meaning it needs repair.
I unplugged the power for a minute to do a power cycle, and luckly it still turned on.
So make sure you turn off nvidia fullscreen video before you use picasa, otherwise you will get hardware damage.
