Picked up a PSP Today and trying to figure out what games to get first!

I bought a used PSP from a guy at work today ($80! :Q). I passed on the games he was trying to unload, because none of them really interested me. After reading a few reviews online I'm thinking I might pick up Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good RPG/Sport/Puzzle games. For the most part I stick to playing action games on the PC ... it's just not the same on a handheld IMO.

The MLB 0X: The show games aren't bad for baseball.
GTA: LCS and VCS

If you have the right firmware (or the right game to downgrade) put custom firmware on it and open up a vast library of cheap PS1 games.

GTA and Lumens are pretty good but thats it.

Dont get Daxter, overrated.

If you don't mind quirky/kiddie games try Gurumin. LocoRoco is a fresh original game. Sid Meiers Pirates can kill some hours. If you have a friend with a PSP Powerstone Collection and Worms Open Warfare 2 are good. Some I haven't played that typically get a lot of praise are Ratchet and Clank, Lumines, Crush, Metal Gear Portable Ops off the top of my head. Most PSP games are beat em and shelf em titles. My PSP is mostly used to play ripped PS1 games and SNES roms.

Burnout and the NFS games plus the GTA games are all I played when I was into the PSP. Seems like I was only in PSP games that had vehicles in them! Outrun 2006 was good too (another car game ). I played both untold legends games, they were merely ok.

CrackRabbit[/i] Could you share more about the firmware downgrade and PS1 games? Or...so as to not highjack this thread maybe post some reference urls?
