I like what you did there. It looks like we have some similarities in the sound dampening department, I did the same thing with the door as you did, and I put something like paxmate allllll over the case. I was considering finding a way to put a Nintendo Wii inside the rocketfish as well, but decided against it as my g/f will kill me if I start hacking up the Wii.

The really bad parts of this case are the thin side panels. They rattle/resonate and offer little noise blocking. A heavy window on the left panel would help. Here's what I did....I lined the inside of both panels with Dynamate-type stuff. Then I covered that with Paxmate. I measured the weight before/after......the two additional layers increased the weight of the panels by 50%. Helps a lot.

On a whim I purchased some ducting insulation, and in combination with the paxmate wannabe product (same thickness and material), I coated the side panels with on my first project. Like I said before, there are a few things I would have done different on the first case, but there are a lot of base ideas I can use from it, like the sound damening and insulation.

I'm still sitting on an un-opened rocketfish case looking for a very unique idea that I can accomodate. Once again today I started thinking, and the thinking turned into alcohol and thinking... and once again I'm left with no ideas that really strike my fancy even after reading all of the suggestions so far.

KEEP the ideas coming. I would not mind sharing credit for anything done to this case, and if it's something that stands out, the person(s) who contribute will get their credit due

First of all... IMO the perfect colour to match a black glossy paint is red. Blue... you see it everywhere now, LED's, screens, neon... i'd get off the grid, and since i'm a big NZXT Lexa Blackline fan, i really loved the black/red combination. If you do a stripes paintjob, leave an area untouched right under the stripes, about 1-2cm, leaving the original black scracthed aluminum. That glossy/matte combination will make it stand out better. Also, when making a grill opening on the top, don't just cut out a grill, bend them upwards as a hood intake you see on sports cars. Make it a bit NASCAR-like, since it's a popular sport there. It's hard to just lay out every idea i have, and this is a bit slow as a conversation method. I'll send an email with what i've done so far, you'll get the picture way better.
