they are 350z anniversary wheels from 2004. Better than stock at least. Get me a better set and I can give you these

That brings back memories...I had a friend in college with that anniversary edition 300ZX (manual trans, digital dash, bodysonic, T-tops, and shocks that were adjustable with a knob on the console). It was over 10 yrs old at the time. It always seemed a bit slower than I expected given its turbo V6, but now I look it up and realize it was "just" 200hp.

Compression is a relative measurement. You don't judge the condition of an engine with a compression test; you use it to find a bad cylinder.

What you want is called a leakdown test.

Yes and no. You can definitely tell the condition of an engine using sheer compression numbers alone. If they are low across the board, it can be a sign of a worn out engine.

Good steal on the Eclipse. I've always liked that body style.

Wasnt it a followup and attempt at 'modernizing' the Datsun 240. All the cars of that era were going to the boxy robot look (Corvettes for example). I used to HATE the styling of nearly all 80's cars. Now, some of them are actually half decent looking, and some cars today are actually mimicing the boxy styling again (Example: Camaro).
The Z31... ehhh, almost half decent looking. The old datsuns can look WAY more badass IMO. Id go datsun 240 over z31. Niche market I suppose. If you love 'em, you probably REALLY love 'em. Manimal practically stole these cars, so well worth it.

I dont mind the rims on it, but you are right, some 15" meshies would be killer.

I actually don't recall ever seeing those. But every digital 80's dash that I know of was both bad and horribly unreliable (then again, the ones I'm thinking of were all GM).
