I'm not a self-described real man by any means but I keep my wallet in my back right pocket and a few coins in my left back pocket if I carry any.

Huh...I always keep my wallet in my front pocket. I used to keep it in the back but then it was hurting my ass cheek and breaking some of my cards over time (I'm not a fatty, for the record). Change goes in the other pocket, if I'm even carrying any.

In the front = safer from pickpockets, easy on your cards and emergency rubber :thumbsup:.

At most I will pick up my own pennies, but I won't pick up other people's pennies unless I needed to do something with it like pick at something on my shoe.

Most I've ever found on the ground that didn't belong to me was a $20 bill. It was on a sidewalk to a school. I looked around in all directions to be sure no one was around and there was nobody for sure. Eyed it again to make sure it was a $20 and snagged it up!

I keep my wallet in the front if I am going to a concert but only then. I've never broken a card (not a fatty either) in this fashion but I also keep a very bare-bones wallet. I hate change in my front pockets because I hate how it sounds and feels in there. No need for an emergency rubber

ive picked up nickels and above on occasion, but ill go out of my way to get a quarter. all the change i end up with at the end of the day goes into a jar, which is about 16" tall and 8" around. it is abouot 3/4 full at the moment, and the change box i use if i forget to drop it in the jar is about 12"X6"X5" and is about full now. i need to roll that stuff up and buy me some toys! my son recently put a bunch of it into a 64oz cup, a little over half way up. he was at 12 bucks by the time he got bored and there was still 1/4 of the cup filled.

i hate collecting change so i try to use my CC as much as possible. if i do have to use cash i usually dump the change in the tip cup if they have one. like at a starbucks.

No rubber? I've been caught without a couple times and taken a chance but I'm really not up to doing that again. I'm not an invincible 19 year old fratboy anymore lol.

I'd pick up a quarter or dollar if I'm not in a hurry or not in a crowded area. $5 minimum if I have to be somewhere or if I'm not literally tripping over it.

Now the next question is, how much would it take for you to reach in a garbage can to "rescue" some cash? We saw a $10 sitting in a trash can in a local Walmart. Shamelessly snagged it, but then again, it would have been another story if it was doused in someone's half-finished milk shake or if it was in a bathroom or something.

Ill pick up anything silver in color...pennies are worthless IMO. I just add whatever I find to my change jar (a clay pot made by Navajo indians I bought in New Mexico ). Change builds up fast...after about two weeks I empty it to find about $30 in loose change...cant beat that!

I actually don't mind the loonies and toonies too much - good for parking, tips etc. Not so good for stuffing into strippers' g-strings though :hmm:.

Maybe once I'm back in a steady relationship I won't have to worry about rubbers, but I'm currently in slut-mode, so I suit up . lol, that was a lot of alliteration .

I have a weird thing about finding money on the ground, I pretty much never pick it up, no matter the amount. I feel it's not mine, so I'm not entitled to it. I have picked up a fiver on the ground and put it into a charity bin, but I never keep it. It just does not feel right to me, even though it should not really matter at all.
