I find the phrase "hot deal on new car" an oxymoron since the minute you drive of the dealer's parking lot, if you check your rear view mirror you can see right on the curb about $5k of your car's value you just dropped. I can get a fully loaded whatever car I want about 2yrs old for half the price of that new car - take the money I save and buy other toys or vacation. The new car smell doesn't do it for me anymore, at least not when it comes to my pocket book. But that's just me...

Yes, his Accord has VTEC. On the Accord, you can hear it change more than you can feel it. If you want to feel it, try a Prelude.

Yes the LX, SE and EX models have the VTEC 150hp engine. Can I feel it "kick in"? No not really since it's an automatic and I dunno what it would feel like when it "kicks in".

BTW.. My sis' has a 2001 Loaded EX V6 that she got for just under $20K on a closeout last year. Nice car.
