I would be glad if you could help me with a strange problem. Ever since I formatted my computer, I have been unable to use the "Dual Head" feature of my video card properly (an old GF 6600GT); When I play a video and scale it to full screen, the picture ratio is kept on the the monitor (a 4:3 CRT) connected to the first output of my video card while on my projector (a 4:3 DLP) it is always stretched to fit a 4:3 image. When the video material is 4:3, there is obviously no problem as the projector has a native 4:3 resolution, but in any other case there is. I need to set it up so that the projector too - like my monitor - receives the video material already fitted to it's native ratio (4:3) which it then projects with no processing.
Setting the projector to 16:9 only helps with 16:9 video material; this method is impractical for any other aspect ratio.
The projector is connected to the second output of the video card and the "Full-Screen" feature is activated for this output via the driver settings of the card (This feature automatically scales a video shown on output_1 into full screen mode on output_2).
How do I solve this issue?
I'm using the latest adware & spyware free versions of BSplayer and K-Lite codec pack.
Thanks!
