<< You have some pretty nice dogs there. Be glad you haven't been "blessed" with a cat; they're very annoying, at least imho. "Our" cat (really it was my dad's idea to start feeding him, and my mom is the one who feeds him all the time now) is one of the most annoying cats in the world; a more appropriate name for him would have been "DC" as in the movie "That Darn Cat." "Lady" comes from "Lacy's Lovable Lady," her AKC registered name, which was given to her by the people who had her before we got her. Needless to say I would have preferred to name her Lassie, as it sounds better, and she does seem to look kind of like Lassie, although she is a lot more obnoxious than Lassie. >>
Yeah, I hate cats. I mean, some are tolerable, but the fact that they can attack with their paws just scares me. And most cats like to be alone and for other people to "mind their own business." We went to a friends a few years ago for Christmas and my mom was petting their cat when all of a sudden, for no apparent reason it claws my mom down the backside of her arm. The cut was nasty and was bleeding pretty bad. Our neighbors have cats, but I haven't seen them for a while. The one neighbor whose cat used to come over to our yard to say hi moved upstate. The rest of the neighborhood is a dog neighborhood
