Hope this is the right forum.
I have a brand new Pioneer DVD Burner/combo drive in my machine, link is to newegg because I can't find it on Pioneer's website. I find that I cannot run some of my older games (Civ 4, Battlefield 2, Sim City 4) that use Macrovision Safedisc copy protection on them. These are purchased, original DVDs, not copies, and worked fine on my old machine. I'm going to swap out the DVD drive for an alternate to see, but I was wodnering if anyone else happened to know anything about this.
