Hunters hunt animals that have a chance of escaping and are Evil To**ers.
Lions hunting Zebra is natural for their survival, dropping a live animal in a fishtank with 0% chance of escape is cruel (IN MY EYES).

And what about people who cook lobsters live? Or slaughterhouses? Or what about pet owners that can't take care of their fish properly?

Don't claim that it is natural, either. In nature, this fish wouldn't be confined to an area with no chance at survival. Why not kill it quickly and drop it in for them to eat? They wouldn't know the difference.

Call me a psychopath but I would pay good money to see in person, a full grown killer whale and great white shark fighting to the death. While there is that video the great white wasn't full grown and neither was the killer whale. I am sure plenty of people would pay to see this fight in person too and on TV.

I fed a big bubbley eyed goldfish to a friends piranha once. It was so cruel, they ate out his eyes then disabled his lift fin. After that he had no remote chance of survival. It was a fitting end to my goldfish buddy, much better then flushing him.

I don't get it, people are saying "OMG look at those piranhas pwn that fish"... I mean there's like 5-7 of em VS one fish. I'd like to see that oscar VS one piranha, although the oscar don't have super sharp teeth like piranha, it will ward it off to leave it alone. Pitch the piranha another fighter type fish and lets see what happens. ONE ON ONE!!

and how am i supposed to get my tank down to just one fish? catch them with a net? my tank is too big for that.. i'll be standing there all day.. and then they'll most likely bite through the net and end up on the floor..

when i was preparing to bring them home from where i was buying them.. we kept layering the big plastic fish bags, but they kept biting the bag and it'd start leaking water.. so we had to use one of those 10 gallon tupperware bins

I tend to agree with you. Getting off to stuff like that just isn't normal. It's one thing to see this happen in nature and be amazed at how savage piranaha can be - it's another to setup the situation. That koi had about as much chance as an Iraqi beheading victim. Um, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that in this crowd...
